Who I Am

About Me

Nur-E Sarjina Khan

Nur-E Sarjina Khan

BSc CSE · AIUB · Dhaka, Bangladesh

IEEE Student Member · ACES Member

I am a final-year undergraduate in Computer Science at the American International University-Bangladesh, where my research lives at the intersection of Explainable AI, Human-Computer Interaction, and deep learning architectures.

My work is driven by a single belief: powerful AI is only meaningful when it is interpretable. From predicting motorcycle accident severity using behavioural archetypes and XAI methods, to building lightweight transformer frameworks for resource-constrained IoT devices, my research consistently bridges algorithmic complexity with real-world usability.

I am deeply invested in advancing Bangla NLP — a field still significantly underserved relative to the scale of its speakers. My ongoing projects, DocReader BD and the Bangla Lemmatizer, aim to make intelligent document comprehension and linguistic tooling accessible to a vast community.

Beyond research, I bring hands-on experience across full-stack development, embedded systems, and user-centred design — skills I apply both in collaborative research settings and independent engineering projects.
